This is the 6th Pranzo italiano of 2012!
The movie is Mine vaganti (Loose Cannons), Italy 2010, directed by Ferzan Ozpetek.
It is a bittersweet comedy drama.
Tommaso is the youngest son of the Cantones, a large, traditional southern Italian family operating a pasta-making business since the 1960s. On a trip home from Rome, where he studies literature and lives with his boyfriend, Tommaso decides to tell his parents the truth about himself. But when he is finally ready to come out in front of the entire family, his older brother Antonio ruins his plans.
Runtime: 1h 50 min
The movie is in Italian with English subtitles.
The dinner charge is for pumpkin mascarpone ravioli with brandy sauce and crushed amaretti, green salad with tomatoes and olives, bread and soft drink (mineral water or soda). Tax and gratuities are not included. The movie is free.
If possible, please pay in cash.
The event will take place only if at least 15 people sign up. This number must be reached by October 31. If the headcount is not met, the event will be cancelled.
The maximum number of attendees is 24, but we will watch the 'wait list' and try to get you in if there is a cancellation.
Due to limited seating and as the owner needs a correct headcount, in the event you are not able to attend, please cancel your reservation with at least 48 hours' notice.
