Italian classes beginners I ( starting from chapter 2 of Prego textbook)

Italian beginner I: this class is for first time students who have minimum or no knowledge of Italian. Students are required to purchase the Italian textbook Prego (7th edition) by Lazzarino, Dini and Peccianti. This group will meet every Saturday morning at 10:00-11:05 am.

Prego 7(th edition) can be purchased at a low-cost at one of the following websites:

After you place your order, it takes about 3-4 days to receive the book. You may resell it when you don’t need it anymore.

The cost for the 7 weeks still stands at $80.00. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me via e-mail at [masked] or through this site. You may sign up here on-line here by responding yes. Parking is available at nearby spaces of the Alta House building.

I am looking forward to seeing you soon,

Hi Nileema, we will take at least one Saturday off between Christmas and New Year. After the November 16th session, we will start another consecutive one. However, it will not be from chapter 1, but from whichever chapter we covered last.

I suggest you: 1. sign up for the upcoming session and come whenever you are available
    2. wait until the next session starts making sure that in the meantime you keep up to date with the rest of the beginner students studying on your own.

Please let me know if could help you further

    Hi Elia,
I would very much like to join your beginning Italian class; however I too will be traveling between December and the end of January. Therefore I'd like to know whether you might be offering the same course beginning in February 2014 or so? If not, should I join the current class (beginning 11/16) and just attend classes as I am available, or do they need to be attended as consecutive Saturdays? If you could let me know, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much!

Can you give me the dates of the classes around the Christmas holiday? I will be out of the country for 3 Saturdays and am thinking, sadly, this won't work for me. Thanks.

I'm very interested in joining the (level 1) group but have some Sat. morning conflicts to resolve 1st. I lived/worked in Spain 3 years, married a Spainard (who died a few years ago) & am quite fluent in Spanish (& some Portuguese) - - am really hoping to learn Italian - a beautiful language.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
