How much do you know about Italian Ice Cream? Let’s us answer for you : not enough!

Join us for a journey through the wonders of Italian Gelato and the delicates aromas of Italian regional wines, Sunday 21 August!

Set in "GINO GELATO" the famous Ice Cream parlour just off the Strand, this event will be a feast for the whole family, an opportunity to discover some of the most intriguing creations of the Italian inventive with flavours such as Arancio and Campari, Cioccolato and Chianti, Vin Santo and Cantucci, Lampone and Merlot, just to name a few!

GINO (Gelato Italiano Naturale Originale) is a project set-up 18 months ago with the help of Palmiro Bruschi, the first winner of “Italian Champion of Gelato” and a world-wide renowned master of artisan Ice-cream making.

Celebrating the quest for perfection, with only fresh and organic ingredients, (from fresh British Milk to hazelnuts from Piedmont, pistaccios from Bronte at the foot of Mt. Etna, chocolate of the finest Belgian variety), this event is set to open an entire new dimension of your senses

At 5pm there will also be a live demonstration on how to prepare gelato, so that you can have a peek at the secrets of the traditional ice cream ... and taste it as it comes out from the mixer!

... and that’s not all! A special surprise is waiting for you

This is an event with no entrance fee, all you need is your passion for Gelato!

Who said that practicing a new language is boring? Brush up your Italian the fun way and ... have your senses ready – the journey is about to start!

Buon Gelato!
