Ladies of Italian Song

We all had such a great time being entertained by her tremendous talent last year, that we decided to do it again!

Our own Armida Hernandez will perform a panoply of songs crossing genres from Jazz to Pop to Opera. She will perform songs made famous by Italian-American artists, as well as Italian Opera favorites.

A program will be available on the day of performance.

If anyone wants to get together afterwards for Pizza at Zeffiro's, let's hear your Comment below.

Some of the artists she will render will include:

Connie Francis - Born Concetta Rosa Maria Franconero

Best known for several international hit songs including "Who's Sorry Now?," "Lipstick on Your Collar," "Where the Boys Are", and "Stupid Cupid." She topped the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart on three occasions with "Everybody's Somebody's Fool," "My Heart Has a Mind of Its Own" and "Don't Break the Heart That Loves You." She was the top charting female artist of the 1950s and 1960s.

Nancy Sandra Sinatra

(born June 8, 1940) is an American singer and actress. She is the daughter of singer/actor Frank Sinatra, and remains best known for her 1966 signature hit "These Boots Are Made for Walkin'".

Other defining recordings include "Sugar Town", the 1967 number one "Somethin' Stupid" (a duet with her father), the title song from the James Bond film You Only Live Twice, several collaborations with Lee Hazlewood such as "Jackson", and her cover of Cher's "Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)", which features during the opening sequence of Quentin Tarantino's (2003) hit movie Kill Bill.

Anybody wanting to get together for Pizza after the performance? I recommend the new NY Italian Pizza. It's as close to "NY style" as you are gonna get here. It's very good, in fact!
