Architectual Artifacts & late lunch or Early Dinner

Architectural Artifacts Inc. is not really a museum because you can buy most everything that is there but it might as well be.

Nowhere in the world is there a collection of architectural artifacts with more range, depth, and personality than this.Whether you are a student of architecture, a long-time Chicago resident, or simply interested in a visual history of classic architecture, you will not want to miss the opportunity to see these artifacts in person.

You will see & find many artifacts designed and created by such masters asLouis H. Sullivan, Frank Lloyd Wright, William Purcell and others. Many of the artifacts are from Chicago landmarks and buildings important to the community and commerce of our city.

What could be more fun than being dazzled by Chicago's history, able to buy some of it if you so choose or just browse if you don't.  And after that we all go and enjoy a wonderful late lunch (or early dinner) together at Spacca Napoli Pizzeria at 1769 W. Sunnyside.

Whether you want real

Authentic Neapolitan Style pizza or dishes then this is the place to be!

So why not join us for a of fun & history on a lazy Sunday afternoon on March 24

The “showroom” is actually a complex comprising two buildings bridged by a dramatic, soaring atrium. Across 80,000 square-feet on five levels, their vast inventory awaits your discovery.

Architectual Artifacts is an extremely interesting a fun place to see. It's historic, different, captivating and a very enjoyable place to browse, look for things and buy. Our lunch at Spacca Napoli couldn't have been better. Great plates, terrific wine, wood fired pizza (as good as Italy) and of course our group was the best...as usual. Rich intelligent & fun conversations and new friendship developed. On a scale of 1 to 10...definately an 11.

It's Palm Sunday and Mass won't end until 12:30 so I'll be late ~1:30 (can't miss Spacca Napoli, heard so many good things about it).

I will be cooking for Passover which begins the next night, but perhaps I can break away to at least see Architectual Artifacts! Sounds like an amazing space! (and looking foward to seeing the others in the group)
