Great Pyrenees are big dogs and need lots of interaction and exercise and too often they are too big to play with other dogs so lets see if we can get a few Pyrenees owners in the Austin area A group to get together so these big boys and girls can play. If you have another big dog like a Kangal, Akbash or Anatolian Shepherd and need play mates feel free to join

"We moved to Georgetown in August 2011 with our 1-year-old Pyr Lucy. We are anxious to meet other big, white furry friends in the Austin area and get Lucy out of the yard! Will have to get some good pics uploaded of our beautiful baby girl!"

"Hi. I live south and work downtown. My pup is a 120 pound pyrenees/retriever mix. Great blend of fun, loyal, mellow and friendly by day and good guard at night. She plays well with others. So do I."

"I moved to Elgin in June, 2011 and work in east Austin. My Pyrenees, Trooper, came with the farm I purchased in Elgin. His previous owner did not want to keep him and I did! He is a wonderful dog and goes to work with me a few times a week."
