Druid Hill Farmers Market, Every Wednesday, 3:30 - 7:30
The Friends of Druid Hill Park, The Howard P. Rawlings Conservatory and the Baltimore City Department of Recreation and Parks take pride in bringing you locally grown vegetables, meats, fruits, flowers and plants sold by the farmers that produce them. While you're purchasing your fresh vegetables and fruits, enjoy a tasty item from a local bakery or a meal created by local food vendors.
Shoppers can now swipe SNAP/Independence Card benefits at the FoDHP Welcome Tent and receive tokens to use at participating vendors. Tokens come in $1 (SNAP/Independence Card) and $5 (debit/credit) increments, and cardholders choose how many tokens they wish to purchase. Baltimore Bucks make the offer more enticing by offering SNAP customers up to $5 in matching funds to spend at the market. The new token payment system also works with bank account debit cards, making it easier for shoppers who don't have cash to make purchases. Debit/Credit users are not eligible for Baltimore Bucks.
Each week the Friends of Druid Hill and the Rawlings Conservatory sponsor free programs, yoga, music and more! Watch for weekly program announcements!
