In association with MiLKlabs (http://www.milklabs.ie) I IxDA limerick will be hosting Limerick's first Ignite (http://ignite.oreilly.com/) event. Where in talks that are exactly five minutes long, Ignite presenters share their personal and professional passions, using 20 slides that auto-advance every 15 seconds.

Great evening! A lot of people attended - some of them interested in Interaction Design, some in hackerspaces, some just curious about Ignite!
We had attendees from TOG in Dublin and 091labs in Galway as well.

this was, IMHO, the best IxDA related event so far. Great fun, lots of people, interesting talks and interaction.

I very much enjoyed the first Ignite in Limerick. It was very informative and several things were of interest to me. Free mapping & Pure Data being two of them.
Looking forward to the next event.
