Chris Pelsor | Hidden Visualizations: Using Data to Drive Design
Usually when we discuss data visualisation, it is a visual contextualisation of the data, and is done to better understand what the data means. However, are there ways we can take that data directly and use it to automate and augment personalisation efforts? In this talk we will cover personalisation strategies and how they can be driven using A/B and MVT technologies alongside your traditional data collection regiments.
Chris Pelsor is a Senior Solution Architect with Adobe Systems, based in Norway. He has worked as a front-end developer, experience architect, and service designer. In his current role, he works with organisations to understand and architect their Digital Marketing infrastructure and efforts.

Angela will share her professional journey through the fascination for water science explained by visual narratives. She will tell us about the struggle and joy, the conflicts and mediations, the wonder and uncertainty in discovering, understanding and visualising the invisible data of our everyday water consumption.
Angela Morelli is an information designer. She works with European research organisations such as The Knowledge Centre in Oslo and is visiting lecturer at Central St Martins in London and at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts, KhiO. She was named a 2012 Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum for her work as an ambassador for virtual water and water footprint research.
