Hi Sally,
We have two events coming in April with Etienne Charles.  I thought your list would be interested!  =)  Below is the eblast:

World Music Concert featuring Etienne Charles (Varner Recital Hall at Oakland University)
Friday, April 4, 2014 at 8 p.m.
Annual winter concert by OU’s World Music Ensembles (Akwaaba, African Ensemble and Pan-Jumbies, Steel Band) featuring Trinidadian trumpeter, percussionist, and composer Etienne Charles. Charles has received critical acclaim for his exciting performances, thrilling compositions and knack for connecting with audiences worldwide. Perhaps more than any other musician of his generation of Eastern Caribbean origin, Charles brings to his music a careful study of myriad rhythms from the French, Spanish, English and Dutch speaking Caribbean. Mark Stone and Patrick Fitzgibbon, ensemble directors.
$8 all seats

Pan Jazz and OU Jazz Band with Etienne Charles (Varner Recital Hall at Oakland University)
Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 8 p.m.
The OU Jazz Band and Steel Drum Combo (Pan Jazz) combine forces to perform innovative new compositions for Big Band with Steel Drums by Etienne Charles, Mark Stone and Andy Narell. Mark Stone and Miles Brown, ensemble directors. There will be a Jazz Band Festival during the day for high school bands to perform in a clinic setting with our jazz faculty. Contact Miles Brown at [address removed] if interested in participating.
$8 all seats
