The Heart of Ireland with Kitty Donohoe

Get your Irish on at The Heart of Ireland with Kitty Donohoe. Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with Irish songs, stories, poetry and music. Joined by Suzanne Camino on accordion and piano, Kitty weaves traditional pieces with her own songs and tunes on guitar and cittern.

The Friends of the Troy Public Library present a special evening of baseball talk and history on Thursday, March 27 at 7 pm in the Meeting Room. 

Mark Bowden, Coordinator for Special Collections at the Detroit Public Library, will speak about the Ernie Harwell Sports Collection in the Library’s Meeting Room.  Detroit-themed snacks and beverages will be served, featuring Sander’s Bumpy Cake and Better Made potato chips, and there will be a chance to win tickets to a Tigers game. 
 
This is a special “members only” event for Friends of Troy Public Library. Not a member? No problem; join today! Membership levels start as low as $10, and forms are available here or in the Library.
