Tomorrow we venture out to the Detroit Library to enjoy some sweet Java & Jazz! This concert series brings world-renowned jazz musicians to Detroit for music fans to enjoy FREE of charge.
The series closes out Tuesday, July 15th with Pathe Jassi.
Hear the Brazilian Creole vocals of Pathe Jassi of Senegal along with his amazing polyrhythmic Afro/Jazz bass and guitar playing. One of Detroit’s best-kept secrets, Jassi is sure to thrill the crowd with his unique sound.
Also Featuring... Sean Blackman on acoustic guitar. Sasha Kashperko on electric guitar, and Rick Beamon on drums!
GROUP MEETING SPOT: 5:30pm-5:50pm. Let's connect downstairs where java, cocoa & tea are being served, prior to the jazz performance. Look for MEETUP reserve signs on a table top as well as placed on a few seats, so you can find the group in the Friends auditorium. PERFORMANCE is 6pm - 9pm.
