N.C. Triangle Area Ride for Kids

When you join hundreds of other motorcyclists for this scenic ride through the North Carolina countryside, you'll have a great time while raising funds for the PBTF's medical research and family support programs! Riders on all makes and models are welcome.

Registration opens at 8 a.m. and closes at 9:30 a.m. The escorted ride starts at 10 a.m. sharp, rain or shine!

The ride will loop back to the start point.

Ride for Kids fundraisers earn special incentives and awards. For every $300 you raise, you'll be eligible for a drawing for a Honda motorcycle and other great prizes (must be present to win).

All participants receive free beverages, a light breakfast and lunch. Plus, meet our Ride for Kids “stars,” the local children we help!
For more information, call[masked]-6530. Online registration is coming this spring.

The ride was good. Here is a link to a short video I made of the roundabout in Pittsboro where the ride doubled back on itself.

Alright folks. It looks like the rain will hold off till later afternoon or evening. I am going to be at the gas station to meet folks for a little while longer. I will be at the gas station until about 8:30
In case you missed it I will meet folks at the corner of 64 and Laura Duncan drive in apex. Depending on where you are coming from it is right on the way. Here is a map. http://goo.gl/maps/ctPWh
Just post here to let me know if you want to meet me there. If not look for me at the ride. I will be the guy on the Harley. ;-)

Hey folks, it looks like there is going to be a great turnout for this ride. In reviewing the attendee list, I noticed that quite a few of you have not signed a waiver for our site yet. You will have to sign a waiver for the White Oak ride Organizers at registration, but I thought this also might be a good time to print and sign your waivers for JBB and just hand them to Smitty, who is taking point for our group. You need only sign the JBB waiver once for the duration of your membership. Once received, I will post that the waiver has been signed and received on your profile. I also keep a record of signed waivers in a binder.

It's not absolutely necessary to get the waivers in on this ride, since you have to sign a waiver for the public ride organizers. But it is necessary that you get me your waivers for group rides at JBB, that are not public events. It's just an added layer of protection for my ride leaders and organizers. Please get them into me as soon as possible. Thanks.

Hey Smitty, I'm a new member and also in Cary. I'll meet you at the gas station before the event.

    No problem Lori,
I am in Cary, but I will meet folks just about anywhere, within reason. ;-) if we meet and ride in as a group it gives us an opportunity to more easily find and meet one another.
There is a gas station on the corner of Rt 64 and Laura Duncan drive in apex that will work out pretty well. I will post a link to a map, later. I am open to other ideas too.

Smitty, looks like there may be quite a group. Would you mind taking point position on this? I honestly don't know if I will be able to make it. It all depends on my health. Anyway, I'd be real appreciative if you could take the lead for our group. If I can make it, I'd love to ride in as a group.
