What kind of bike do you ride? Do you like riding at cruising speed or faster spirited rides? Do you like twisty backroads? Do you ride on Interstates? Please feel free to add any further information in this message block.

Right now I don't have a bike. My last bike, a Harley Softtail Deluxe, I had to trade in towards a new car last November , so I could travel to Indiana to take care of my sister, during a medical emergency. Right now, I'd be happy to be a backrest, until I can get some funds together and get another bike. I prefer Cruising speed on long country roads. When I have my own bike, I ride the twisty back roads and the interstates, though I much prefer the back roads unless I'm trying to get somewhere in a hurry. I'm hoping to be on a new bike sooner as opposed to later. I've been the primary Organizer here since Oct. 2011, but have been involved with JBB Raleigh and JBB Chapel Hill as an organizer, as well as other motorcycle sites since 2008, when I finally got my first bike and taught myself to ride. There aren't many things that both settle my soul and get my blood pumping at the same time besides motorcycles. When it comes to motorcycling, I've got it bad.... :-)

When riding or participating in any event: you, your passenger &/or guests agree NOT to hold Event Organizers and/or JBB-RDU responsible for injuries or damages which may occur. -- Please type below, "I agree to ride at my own risk".

Yes, I agree to the disclosure. I agree to ride at my own risk. I will hold harmless organizers of rides and meets. LM 4070, date 10/5/11

Are you familiar with group riding HAND SIGNALS & GUIDELINES? If not, please let us know BEFORE you ride, so we can review the "rules of the road", and help keep everyone safe! Lots of information and tips can be found on our message boards.

Have you ever taken the Motorcycle Safety Class? In what state? How long ago? In the PAST YEAR, what is your experience level? NEWBIE, INTERMEDIATE, or ADVANCED

Yes, at Shelton's HD. Still consider myself newbie to intermediate. I've finally figured out I need a smaller bike. On my last two bikes, I was fine at cruising, but the slow moves were difficult for me primarily because of the weight. I've ridden bikes too big for this little ol' gals short legs. I've always been a Harley Moma, but truly appreciate the many things that different bikes have to offer.

WHERE did you hear about us? WHY would you like to join our group?

I'm an organizer here.

Let's meet up and ride somewhere new.
