Playing With MongooseJS and JS Multi-threading

Prerequisites basics of nodejs

Tentative Agenda : 

10 - 10:30 : A quick and brief introduction to mongoDB and yes we will defniltely going to start at 10 AM.

10:30 - 11 : 00 : Understanding mongoose and need of such framework

11:00 - 11:10 : Break

11:10 - 12 PM : Understand each feature of mongoose and try it out 

Features like

- Understanding Schemas

- Basic CRUD operations

- Understanding object relations like many to many etc

- Populating child elements-

12 - 1 PM : JVM (JaVascript Multithreading) - exploring multithreading capability of JavaScript using Web Workers

- Threading in JS
- Create unresponsive script problem [live coding]
- Web Worker concepts
- Solve problem using Web Worker [live coding]
- Features available to Workers
- What workers can't access
- Advance Web Worker concepts (brief)
- Hands On Session (if time permits)

    It was great meeting up with everyone.

    We can do some sessions on Ember/Angular or comparing the two. We can also get into the depths of Backbone as it is a minimal framework to make really powerful apps.

    Ganesh suggested that we can maybe have a session about various Case Studies of our production apps and how we used JS in the frontend and/or backend.

    I heard a few people say that it was harder for them to reach as it was not closer to Gurgaon. We can have the next meet up in Saket if you guys are up for it.

      I actually liked the venue.. easily reachable by the metro.. and centrally located.. of course.. any venue would be far out for some people and closer to some ;)
