Jefferson Unitarian Church CUUPS (Covenant of UU Pagans) does not embrace any exclusive path or one specific Tradition. We are a chapter that is part of a larger North American movement dedicated to educating people about Pagan beliefs and practices. The Unitarian Universalist Association recognizes Pagan paths as a legitimate expression of spirituality and a path toward religious truth. This association validates individual pursuit of personal faith while offering the benefits and resources of church affiliation.

Open Moon and Open Sabbat Rituals are held either on a regular meeting night or sometimes on a separate night close to the actual date, either in the Chapel or on the back patio.

Jefferson Unitarian Church welcomes JUC CUUPS and our diversity, and we have the strong support of the Ministers and Staff. All JUC CUUPS events are open to everyone regardless of affiliation, including people who are committed to other groups. To quote our friends at Hearthstone, "we do not expect everyone to enter in Perfect Love and Perfect Trust, as there are people you don't know there, but to enter with a Willing Heart and an Open Mind, and leave your differences at the door."
