Chainmail part 2!

Chainmaille Jewelry, Part 2!

For those of you who missed it the first time or for those just looking to try a different set of patterns, we're bringing chainmaille jewelry back.  Erin Hathaway will be teaching two different chainmaille jewelry patterns: a pair of Shaggy Loops earrings and a Double Spiral bracelet.  We'll be working in anodized aluminum and you can pick your choice of colors (19 options to choose from).  You can go from classically neutral to vividly rainbow, the choices are endless.  Kits will be $3.00 for the Double Spiral Bracelet and $1.00 for the Shaggy Loops earrings and you can choose to do either or both (there should be plenty of time to complete them both).  Please bring a pair of pliers with you to the meeting (flat nose or needle nose work best).  I will have a few extra pairs that people can use, but please leave a note in the comments if you intend to borrow so I can make sure we have enough.  A word of warning: this hobby can be very addictive!

I posted Erin's follow-up info in the Discussions Tab (up where the Photos tab is). Let me know if you have problems seeing the Discussion/

Melodie, I think I have it fixed. She had put () around the URL and it was trying to interpret the ) as part of the address.

Sorry about that, I just checked the discussion board and it's working. Thanks for your help, Mary!

Thanks for being such a great, and patient, instructor. We had a great time making our earrings and bracelets, as we chatted with those around us.

Hi everyone - Quick addition to the supplies list. You'll want to bring either a kitchen towel, washcloth, or muffin tin with you. This is just to hold the rings so they don't go flying everywhere while you work. Can't wait until Sunday!

I know that I would love to learn this technique - but I can't make it on the 19th. Maybe if there is a Part 3!
