May: Crochet ReUsable Swiffer Pad

I opted for a fairly easy project for us.  I found this cute little re-usable Swiffer cover on Pinterest.  I think we can learn crochet and then do another more complicated project later.

Hook size H

One skein Worsted weight yarn (cotton or wool) or scraps will work as well!

**** If anyone still needs to shop for their yarn, I have made the sample out of the 2 oz ball of cotton:

And I had this much left over:

Hey ladies, I'm sorry to cancel at the last minute, but I need to take the puppy to the vet (allergies I think, nothing major) & the only time they have is Sunday afternoon. Looking forward to catching up with you all next month!

Any idea how much time to allow for this project? Thanks...

I am not a really good judge of time on projects. But, I will say that I do believe that this could be completed in 5-6 hours if you knew how to crochet and had no interruptions. I made a second one this weekend with some modifications from the original pattern and I stopped and counted stitches several times and had lots of interruptions. I do not think anybody will finish on Sunday, but we will have a good run it it.

She was having surgery and knew there would be a long recovery time. Maybe we can send her a get well card from the meetup!

If you find a picture of the target bag, I might be able to help figure out how to do it. Just let me know
