Ukulele Jam

Already looking forward to our first jam of the New Year!

Be sure to bring your "The Daily Ukulele" book, and any other music you'd like to share (enough copies of music from other sources to share with however many rsvp).  It would be great if you could provide links or page numbers to selections in advance so we can practice ahead of time!

I really enjoyed playing with the group, even when I couldn't find some of the chords. Lol. Everyone is so welcoming and forgiving. I look forward to the next jam!

Great crowd this week! Glad to have some baritone ukes in the group as well. I liked the players and I liked the venue. Let's keep the venue on our list!

Had a good time playing. My fingers were sore, so I guess I need to play more often. ;-) Was nice to see everyone.

Hope you're having a nice, lazy day at home! It is kinda grey, good for curling up with a good book or movie! :)

I hope you found one, Lois! The yellow one is the one we use the most, although a few of us have the blue "leap year" edition too. They're both fun!

Yes, from Barnes and Noble. I've been trying to play some of the easier songs. I'm looking forward to tomorrow!

If they don't have it (they usually do) you could try George's Music, or order it online. The one we use is the big yellow one...(the blue one is volume 2 and is a little more advanced, and the "road maps" of the songs are harder because they really condensed music to save pages). I think they each cost about $30.
