This will be a repeat of the very popular hike we have taken nine times before.
It's a challenging 6 1/2 mile hike over hill and dale that will take us to the 1882 pump house building.
To Washington's Arch.
Then hike 3/4 mile further west up the river.
On the return we'll come by a little known yet historically significant structure that is nearly 200 years old.
As a fellow hiker commented, "It's not a street walker hike." I promise you'll find it beautiful!
Don't make the mistake of parking at the Riverview Cemetery entrance. Take one of the winding roads all the way to the south eastern most corner of cemetery where you will find ample parking on the grass. You will literally be able to see the river from where your car is parked.
Arrive early as we plan to begin hiking promptly at 10 am.
