Join us for a mid-week evening hike through Innsbrook Park to support Coal Pit Learning Center! Afterwards, walk over to the Capital Ale House for a post-walk meal. Capital Ale House will donate 25% of all non-alcoholic proceeds between the hours of 5pm-10pm.
If you respond “YES” to this hike, you will be asked to donate $5 (only $1 per Kilometer!) via PayPal on Coal Pit Learning Center’s website (the donation button is on the left hand side of their homepage):
Even if you decide not to attend this hike, your donation will still be greatly appreciated.
Information about Coal Pit Learning Center: Since 1976, this 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit school has been dedicated to preparing each child for kindergarten with early reading and math skills combined with a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for students from low-income families. Coal Pit Learning Center, which is funded almost entirely by private gifts, donations, grants, and subsidized tuition primarily serves three, four and five year old children from Henrico County’s West End. These children ordinarily would not receive the benefits of a preschool experience.
The hike will begin at Capital Ale - Innsbrook and we will hike the beautiful park at Innsbrook. There are three beautiful lakes along the way!
