I can talk about sports, food, and places in Japan. Advanced topics like politics or the economy are too hard.
I'm another long time kaiwa club member. Since I first joined, I've made a lot of great friends. It doesn't matter if you're fluent in Japanese or just getting started. Don't be shy if you're afraid that your Japanese is too weak. This is a very casual group with lots of nice people of all different levels. The group sometimes goes out for dinner afterward.
