The group was formed to revive interest in Japanese art (especially with the hanging scroll) and to educate collectors both current and future about the sense of style involved in Japanese paintings and conservation methods/ care. I hope to more and more people who take interest in the arts of East Asia or Japan can enjoy hand made Japanese art not just in the museum but also within their homes as well.
