Kizuna (bond) Project

The Japanese Culture Center would like to invite everyone to the center for an afternoon of cross-cultural understanding. The Kizuna (bond) Project is promoted by the Japanese government to give Japanese exchange students the opportunity to talk about Japan after the 2011 tsunami, and to thank the United States for all of their support throughout the disaster. The students will also present on Japanese culture.
This event will include demonstrations in Aikido, Iaido, Taiko drumming, and Ikebana (traditional Japanese flower arrangement). Please stay tuned for more information, and updated guest presenters. The JCC hopes everyone can attend this unique event!
