Konnichiwa! Yokoso to the Tokyo Japanese – English Language and Culture Meetup!

Any people native or non-native who enjoy teaching, leaning or sharing interest in Japanese/ English language and culture are welcome!

We try to meet at least twice a month. We would like to promote long term friendship between members.

We try to keep the group size of each meeting around 10-25 people.

To attend our events following steps are required
1. Register as an online member
2. Make an annual contribution: $6
3. RSVP on the event description

Please follow the instruction given in the email that you will receive in a few days.

Meetup Time & Venue sometimes change, so don't forget to check "UPCOMING EVENTS or CALENDER" and RSVP regularly.

= Monthly Events =

1st Saturday or Sunday: “Conversation in Japanese(にほんごではなそう)” @ Higashi Ikebukuro
- If you want to practice or help learning Japanese, this is the event for you to come!

3rd Saturday: “J-E Chat on the 3rd Sat” @ Iidabashi
- giving everyone opportunity to make new friends, practice Japanese or English and enjoy tea time with interesting people. Any age and language level is welcomed.

Annual Contribution/ Event Fee
This is designed to cover the cost of maintaining the website, administration fee, and to help event organizers to run the events.

During 2007-2013 the annual contribution and event fee was used to cover the cost to use meetup website, administration fee, transportation and other support fee.
Rest of the money is saved as "JLC meetup fund" for the future use that we are wishing to support promoting Japanese Language and Culture in many countries.
