Open Seattle Japanese Language and Culture Meetup

Jason has been unexpectedly diverted to another big-brimmed corner of the country this week. Most of the other organizer type folks have other obligations this week, so Brendan Miller has graciously agreed to stand in as your event host for the week.

Brendan will likely preorder a few salads and a couple of pizzas based on the event headcount as of early Thursday evening, so please keep your RSVP up-to-date, and please leave a comment if you have any dietary restrictions (vegetarianism, etc).

At Piecoras we tend to share pitchers of beer and an occasional bottle of cheap wine, so let your organizer know if you want to participate in that. Pricing usually works out to south of $20/person for food, and around $7-12/person for shared drinks depending on the degree of misbehavior of the group.

Unlike most Capitol Hill restaurants, Piecora's has on-site parking, but it does tend to fill up, and you'll probably need to move if you plan to attend nijikai. Bus access is easy with nearly everything headed to Capitol Hill, including routes 2, 10, 11, and 12.

Nijikai will likely be within stumbling distance; Elysian might be a good option.

So piecoras called me and mentioned that somebody left some kind of wasurimono at the restaurant. If you are missing something, please go back and claim it.
