Open Seattle Japanese Language and Culture Meetup

Happy Valentine's Indian Food!

If you're not off nibbling your significant other, you can join meetup for some nifty curries, naan and other stuff.

We'll order food to share, probably about 6 different main dishes plus some appetizers. Half will be vegetarian, but if you have any more complicated requirements, please make a note in your RSVP. Drinks will be handled separately; I think there's a full bar.

As usual, please bring plenty of American currency; juggling 20 credit cards is no fun for your organizers or the restaurant staff.

Bus access is easy with 2, 10, 11, 12 and probably other routes, since it's Capitol Hill. Parking is somewhat tricky, for the same reason. Expect to find your most painless parking options on 12th or 13th, but sometimes some surprisingly convenient parking opens up just above the restaurant along Pike itself.

Nijikai may be at Von Trapp's, a German beer hall slash Bocce ball palace that opened on Sunday. I considered scheduling meetup there, but they don't seem to answer their phone yet, so maybe another time.

That place recently opened so it was a little more crazy than we probably wanted.

I had a lot of fun. I'm sorry for ducking out of nijikai early. I'm not very good with extremely loud places, usually.

As always Jason the organizer is so nice and takes care of many aspects of meet. Ordering food, collecting money and paying to the restaurant on top of finding the venue every week.

I will be at an artshow this this time. However, I'm down for nijikai.
