Open Seattle Japanese Language and Culture Meetup

This week, we're meeting in the Roosevelt neighborhood at Chilitos, a better-than-average American-ish Mexican restaurant that has a remarkably redeeming lack of Irish cheese in their food.

Daniel and/or Ayako will be hosting again for you this week, though there's a chance Jason and Kojiro may make a cameo appearance if mama Hiromi decides she needs them out of her hair for a few hours.

The menu is pretty much plate-meal centric, so you can order what you want to eat for yourself. Separate checks may be a possibility, but do come prepared with plenty of cash.

There's a headcount limit of 20 this week, but if there's a waiting list we'll check with the restaurant to see if more space can be made.

Come and have a nice margarita and some Mexican food!

Bus access is easiest with various U-District and Northgate bound routes, 48, 66, 67, 73, 76 or 242. Street parking is usually reasonably manageable nearby.

Nijikai will probably be at Atlantic Crossing, but could just as easily be at Teddy's or Pies & Pints, depending on how things work out.

Okay, who is ready to start the haikus about Mexican food to set the mood for the night?
