I've updated this Meetup. For more details, see the full listing:

When: Thursday, March 8,[masked]:30 PM

Where: Tawon Thai
3410 Fremont Ave. N
Seattle, WA 98103
(206)[masked]

We're making a slightly rare appearance in lower Fremont this week at an old standby, Tawon Thai.

We'll order a bunch of food to share. Price should be under $20/person with tax and tip; drinks will be separate. As usual, if you have any special dietary needs, please make a note of them in your RSVP and I'll make sure we get enough for you to eat; we'll order a mix of seafood, meat and vegetarian dishes. This will probably be a good week to wear extra armor if you want to be hold Kojiro while he demonstrates his kow soi noodle eating technique.

Please bring a plentiful supply of hard currency so that your organizer doesn't have to threaten to take off one of your limbs while we handle the usual bistromathics of settling the night's bill.

This location would appreciate a reliable headcount, so please do your best to keep your RSVP up-to-date.

Parking in this area can be a bit constrained, but there are often spots along the canal at 34th Street heading west of Fremont. Bus access is easy with routes 26 and 28, and there are a few other options if you're willing to walk a few blocks.

Nijikai will probably be just a block or two away at one of Fremont's many fine watering holes.

This Meetup repeats every week on Thursday.

If the changes affect your plans to attend, please take a moment to update your RSVP. (You can RSVP "No" or "Yes".)

You can always get in touch with me through my group profile on Meetup.
