Thursday's Meetup @ Laredos Grill in Queen Anne

From: Jason T.
Sent on: Monday, July 16, 2012 7:21 PM

I've updated this Meetup. For more details, see the full listing:

When: Thursday, July 19,[masked]:30 PM

Where: Laredos Grill
555 Aloha St #100 (between N Taylor & N 6th Ave)
Seattle, WA 98109

Laredos is on lower Queen Anne, just a short walk from Seattle Center. It's a little bit Texican.

Prices are super reasonable, ranging from $9-15/plate; there's even a passable kids' menu. The atmosphere is a bit noisy from all of those crunching chips. Obviously you need a margarita on a summer night, so plan for that too.

The menu is mostly designed as a one-person-one-plate experience, so we'll mostly order separately, but you can share with your neighbors if you like.

Bring your cash. Separate checks will be possible; make sure you let your server know as you order. However, being asked to handle 20 credit cards at once is cruel and unusual.

Parking is occasionally tricky, but on-street options are at least manageable; Seattle Center's parking garage is often a good deal, especially if you come in a group. Bus access is easy with routes 3, 4, 16 and 30 and pretty painless with routes 5 and 358, or, with a little bit more finesse, 26 and 28.

Nijikai may be at Crow across the street, which is more fun if you're dressed for an occasion, or maybe down at Solo or Jabu's if you're all extra casual.

This Meetup repeats every week on Thursday.

If the changes affect your plans to attend, please take a moment to update your RSVP. (You can RSVP "No" or "Yes".)

You can always get in touch with me through my group profile on Meetup.
