Tomorrow's Outdoor Meetup @ Madison Park Beach

From: Jason T.

I've updated this Meetup. For more details, see the full listing:

When: Thursday, September 6,[masked]:30 PM

Where: Madison Beach Park
[masked]rd Ave E
Seattle, WA 98112

Summer is coming to a rapid close; I'm sure it was the best four weeks of the year for you.

We're going to audaciously attempt to plan an outdoor event in Seattle. Those of you actually born here know that this is a foolhardy thing; we locals traditionally leave our weekends unplanned so that we can take advantage of the occasional appearance of good weather if and when it happens, but scheduling good-weather dependent events is known to anger the weather gods.

Anyway, we're going to meet at the beach. Bring blankets and storm gear. If it turns out to be rainy, we'll meet at Thai Ginger, which is just around the corner from the Pharmaca natural pharmacy.

Bring your own food. If you are too busy or too lazy to prepare something, grab something at Bing's burgers, Thai Ginger, McGilvra's pub, Mad Pizza or The Independent (thin crust semi-Italian style pizza).

Bus access is easiest with route 11. Parking should generally be easy on the street unless we end up with shockingly hot weather.

Nijikai will probably be at McGilvra's or the Red Onion Tavern.

This Meetup repeats every week on Thursday.

If the changes affect your plans to attend, please take a moment to update your RSVP. (You can RSVP "No" or "Yes".)

You can always get in touch with me through my group profile on Meetup.
