Thursday's Meetup @ Harbor City in International District

From: Jason T.
Sent on: Monday, January 28, 2013 8:57 PM

I've updated this Meetup. For more details, see the full listing:

When: Thursday, January 31,[masked]:30 PM

Where: Harbor City
707 S King St
Seattle, WA 98104

Ayako and/or Daniel will be your hosts for this evening.

Harbor City serves a lot of Chinese barbecue dishes and clams in black bean sauce. There are a number of vegetarian dishes, although some of them may not be strictly speaking so, so if you have any specific concerns about what we'll pre-order, please make a note in your RSVP.

The price will likely be well south of $20/person, and there are rather limited alcohol options, so it is likely to be a very good deal, but do come prepared with cash, as this is decidedly not the sort of place that is equipped to handle 14 credit cards.

Bus access is really easy, as buses and light rail options that run through the Metro bus tunnel all stop conveniently at International District Station; routes 7 and 36 also do the trick. Parking is relatively manageable as long as we don't have some sort of major sporting event that night, and you can find a few paid parking options if street parking doesn't work out for you.

Nijikai will probably be at one of the few non-crazy international district drinking venues, which pretty much limits us to some combination of Maneki, Ft. St. George, and/or, Benzaiten help us, Bush Garden.

This Meetup repeats every week on Thursday.

If the changes affect your plans to attend, please take a moment to update your RSVP. (You can RSVP "No" or "Yes".)

You can always get in touch with me through my group profile on Meetup.
