JavaScript for Java Developers (and State of JavaFX) - At QCon NY

NYJavaSIG,

Our June meeting will be held at the same venue as QCon NY!   :)

We have two excellent speakers once again.  JavaOne RockStar Steve Chin will be giving us an update on JavaFX and what Oracle's upcoming plans are.

And Java Champion Yakov Fain will be giving us a tutorial on JavaScript for Java Developers.  This is critical information for all Java developers who are building HTML5 web sites and need to understand JavaScript and how it integrates with the browser.  We all know HTML5 is a major wave and how critical knowledge of JavaScript is.

We have limited space, so please RSVP early.

See everyone at QCon!

Yes. I tried to upload it to Meetup, but since it's 20 MB, it got rejected. I will post the direct URL to Yakov's site later tonight.

Hi Frank, is Yakov Fain's JavaScript presentation slide stack available? Thanks.

Great JS intro. Agree that GWT is not JS, but you can get a lot done with GWT knowing only Java, test easily (in java), and share code.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
