Writing Ambitious Web Apps with Ember.js

In this joint meetup with Ember-IL we'll introduce Ember.js which is a client side MVC framework dedicated to writing ambitious web apps.

The video for the event is sponsored by ProImage, so people who can't come won't miss it, Thanks ProImage!

Ember, formally known as SproutCore in its Apple origin, is known for its robust performance. However, it has gone through major changes recently to make it easier to learn and to get started. We will cover how to build MVC-based web apps using Ember, and show how to easily reuse code.

Everyone who is interested in benchmarking and comparing performance of frameworks, here's a github repo:
So, please, fork it, write you tests using the frameworks you are interested in. Pull requests are encouraged.

whats the use case for loading one row at a time VS fetching all of the data from the server at once and inserting them all at once... that takes much less time.

As I mentioned during the lecture, this test is specific for our needs. Client-side gets push notifications from the server about occurred events, and client needs to display details of each event as a table record.
I ran test w/o any server. But repo contains node server for serving static files, so you can clone repo, open terminal, go to ember for example, type: 'node server.js', it will display the address to navigate.

Oren and Sergey gave excellent talks about Ember.

I have a suggestion for next meetings: Discourse - a replacement for phpBB written in Rails and Ember. I think so far it's a largest open-source ember app.

I'd appreciated it if you can talk about how Ember (et al) interact with backend frameworks, e.g. in designing routes and view components.
