September 24th - Luis Casillas presents his Architect toolset

  • Sep 24, 2013 · 6:00 PM
  • Bank of America

Tuesday evening, Luis will be presenting his preferred toolset for the scary fast creation of Screen mockups, XSD documentation, XML sample data, Process Diagrams, Class Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, Use Case Diagrams, Database Sample Data, ER Diagrams, Test Cases. You know, what people other than architects consider real work. He hopes these tools will assist architects and technologists to "Tell the Story" of the application to their respective audiences and project sponsors. Oh, and he'll be doing demos (and demos... and more demos).

Bio:Luis Casillas is passionate about delivering quality software. He loves delighting the customer and sharing ways to help them do what they do better and faster. Some of these ways ( Continuous Integration, Automated Testing, Unit Testing, Source Control, etc.) may be obvious to IT Professionals, but Luis enjoys communicating the benefits of these choices to key stakeholders located outside of Engineering.

He's been building software for over 15 years and is a little wild about technology and automation.
He currently works at Fortegra Financial where he is their Manager of Application Integration Architecture. When he's not building software you can find him at Food Truck Rodeos, User Group meetups, or at home hanging with his family. Pretty much anywhere good food and great conversations are found.

I'm pretty sure anyone who is a member can add files. Just go to "More" above, choose "Files," and browse to the file on your machine; Type in pertinent information and be sure to set who can see them. Press the "Upload File" button.

I'm not new to technology but sort of a newbie to software development and .net. I have been working on a project at work

I have developed several vb.net apps. My current project is automating several oracle and rman processes for end users. I'm motivated and excited about learning more technologies and daily routines of developers in todays market. I will definitely come to as many meetings as posible.
