March 25th - Dust.JS with perhaps a touch of Glass with Mirek Chowaniok

  • March 25 · 6:00 PM
  • Bank of America

Dust is a JavaScript templating engine designed to provide a clean separation between presentation and logic that follows DRY Architecture patterns without sacrificing ease of use. It is particularly well-suited for asynchronous and streaming applications and companies such as Paypal, Linkedin and others have popularized it in the last several years.

Mirek Chowaniok will be presenting and is a mobile technologies architect at BCBSFL and an early participant of Google Glass (r). Please submit a comment when you RSVP if you would like Mirek to spend some time at the meeting showing off Google Glass and the Mirror API and The Glass Development Kit (GDK).

Big thanks to TEK Systems once again for sponsoring pizza at our event. Reminder: The meeting begins at 6:00 PM (networking), 6:30 PM (presentation) For a list of past speakers and presentation over the last 3 years, please visit

Really well done Mirek! Took a lot away from the meeting. I configured GruntJS first thing this morning; that was just a side note of the dust.js presentation! Thanks again for speaking :)

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
