AITP MTA Test Fest Certifications at Florida State College at Jacksonville

Hey folks.  It time for the Microsoft Technology Associates certification Test Fest.  We have partnered with The Association of Information Technology Professional Student Chapter at Florida State College at Jacksonville to bring no cost certifications.

AITP is hosting an IT Immersion event the same day.  Come out and test your skills, then immerse yourself with contests and competitive events!  You must register with both AITP and JaxFISG by visiting the following links:

• https://mtaAITP2014.eventbrite.com - MTA Registration

• https://fscjaitp.eventbrite.com - IT Immersion 2014

Here's a few things that will happen at IT Immersion 2014:

One fun-filled day of IT competitions to showcase the expertise of Northeast Florida college students.  Competition areas will include, but are not limited to, multiple programming languages, database creation, Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint, PC hardware and software challenges.  An IT Scavenger Hunt will be the grand finale.

Both events are open to the public.

The FSCJ AITP Student program is designed for students planning careers in information systems or related fields. Complete professional development requires knowledge that goes beyond the classroom, especially with technology changing so rapidly. The AITP student chapter guides students on their path to success through various workshops, seminars, and networking opportunities with other IT students and professionals.

Any ideas/thoughts on why there is a waitlist? Okay I know why, just what's going on with it?! ;-)

FSCJ ordered 200 exams. That's why there is a waitlist. I asked to boost the registration up to 250. We will see what happens. More to come...

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
