Lets talk about a real MVC framework: Yii

Our April meetup was an introductory discussion about MVC with PHP *.  And a couple of us have offered to present the deets of MVC frameworks they're using.

So this month, Imre has offered to talk about Yii, an OO MVC framework.  Imre is an active contributor to the Yii community and other members are using Yii, so I'm looking forward to an informative conversation.

Interesting! There are a lot of open-source tools out there, and this one has a fast learning curve and a lot of useful add-ons. I will definitely do more research.

I was out of town and somewhat disconnected last week, so I'm a little behind with my organizer duties. But during the week the folks at Modis indicated they were very disappointed we'd switched venues. So with thanks to Mike Russo and Robert Half Technologies for their offer to host this meetup, I have to agree Justin and Modis have earned our consideration and loyalty for their many months of hosting, especially after our long experience camping out in any venue with free wifi.
