~~~~~~~About the Farm:
NaVera Farms was a vision just over three years ago. We purchased a piece of land with a vacant home which was left unfinished waiting for some love. Everything you will see on this farm was started from scratch. There were only pine trees, dirt, trash mounds and believe it or not, no birds or signs of natures valuable insects or creatures. The dirt held a high ph level so it took a few years to convert parts of it...suitable for growing anything.
Today we have a thriving farm with over 120 animals consisting of assorted hens, turkey, Peking ducks, Nubian goats, a Holstein cow, a Jersey cow, two wonderful pigs, a Llama, Alpaca family, Quarter Horse, donkey family, miniature ponies and mini donkey, baby mini pony, baby goats, baby chicks, raised veggie beds, new persimmon and apple orchard, blueberry field and some special flower gardens, oh yes plenty of assorted compose piles which are key to good farming! We also have a dairy barn for milking both cows and goats.
NaVera Farms has been defined as the one of the truly holistic, environmentally friendly animal farms in the state which includes raising and feeding every farm animal Organically. FYI: Healing music is played in our barn for the animals to enjoy and have a peaceful rest each night. We deliver baby animals when necessary and never give up on any animal's health and well-being. We also have an assisted living pen for those small animals who are in healing or visually challenged. Cell phones are not permitted in actual farm animal areas as per our policy~~~~~~~
