Qualify for 2010 $5000 WSOP Buyin!

This meetup group is going to send a player to the 2010 world series of poker for a $5000 buyin and possibly a $10,000 buyin tournament next summer.

Here is how you win the $5000:

First, win a qualifier tournament:

We will be hosting around 10 qualifier tournaments from July to September. First place gets a seat in the finals. Second and third will share the rest of the prize pool for that tournament.

10,000 starting chips.

Second, win the finals:

After all 10 tournaments are played, the 10 winners will play one final tournament.

Finals Buyin value: $675 or a seat ticket (can buy in directly if you want).
1st place gets $5,500 for a seat and a trip to vegas.
2nd place gets $800.
3rd place gets $450.

Final tournament date is to be decided. First qualifying tournament is July 6th starting at 7:00 in Beaverton.

$10,000 buyin details: If we have enough interest, we may form a group that puts up a certain amount of money for 20 tournaments where top point earner will go and play. All players involved will get a peice of the lucky winner's action as they try to cash at the main event, WSOP 2010.
