We had 4 skaters and a goalie (Joe) show up and it was good times, as some of us got to shake off some of the rust. Let's try to keep this going and hopefully, add more people into the mix.

For those coming from Queens, keep in mind the PATH doesn't run too often (every 35 minutes) early Sunday mornings. There's an 8.55 am, 9.30 am, and a 10.05 am train from 33rd street. It's about a 15 minute ride to the Hoboken station.

I live in queens what is the best way to get their?
0 · October 19, 2013
Yup - you can take the PATH from 33rd and 6th avenue, so if you're by the N or R trains in Queens - it's convenient since you don't even need to go outside if you exit the N/R train at herald square. Just follow signs for PATH. I think the rink is about a 10-minute walk from the Hoboken PATH station.
I also know their is a nice rink in College Point (north queens) that is always open and free
I can't make the 20th but have fun if you guys do play. Thanks for setting up the 27th, Godwin.

Just wondering - does anyone want to play this coming Sunday, the 20th? Or should we just keep it for the following Sunday?
0 · October 17, 2013
Ok - we'll see if enough people would be down for this Sunday. Are you good though for next Sunday morning?
I can't make it on Sunday, but I'm playing with some friends at Wolfe's Pond park in Staten Island at 10:30 on Saturday if anyone wants to join.
I probably can't make it out to SI Saturday, but are you still down for the following Sunday, 27th?
I'm definitely down for the 27th.
I hope you guys don't mind me randomly joining the group. I was looking for info about that rink on Adams and found this meetup.

Not at all! This group is all about random people meeting up to get some hockey games going.

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
