Barbecue Bob & The Spareribs

Rockabilly Blues

A roster of NYC-NJ blues veterans who have the chops to back up their considerable record collections, BBQ Bob & the Spareribs play it as hard and mean as those excellent Excello sides recently anthologized by Hip-O / Universal. Singer Bob Pomeroy's harp traces guitarist Ira Spinrad's lead lines in glorious stereo. Those two do a lot of chasing each other. In place of a twin guitar attack, Spinrad and Pomeroy trade licks between distorted harp and guitar. True telepathy at times.

Randy Napoleon Band

Guitarist George Benson calls Napoleon “sensational.” Detroit Free Press critic Mark Stryker says Napoleon “plays with a gentle, purring tone that makes you lean in close to hear its range of color and articulation.” Washington Post critic Mike Joyce praises his “exceptionally nimble finger-style technique.” And critic Michael G. Nastos says “he displays an even balance of swing, soul, and single-line or chord elements that mark an emerging voice dedicated to tradition and universally accessible jazz values.”

Sandy Sasso Quartet

Sandy sings with and for the best in the business. Jazz legends, presidents, entertainment giants, and some of the best road bands traveling today. As a young woman, she had a chance audition and started working with a local big band. This eventually opened the doors to steady work with the Dorsey, Goodman, Riddle and Pops big bands. Sandy tours world-wide, while keeping her performance base in New York City, with everything from small jazz combos to 17 piece big bands.

The Incinerators

Hard Driving Blues

Regarded as one of the most entertaining high energy blues bands in the area, The Incinerators can be counted on to uncompromisingly play the music they love; hard driving blues. If you're a fan of searing guitars, blistering harmonica and smoky vocals all played over a foot stomping back beat, then you're going to really enjoy these guys.

The Soul Project featuring Eryn Shewell

New Orleans Jazz Funk & R&B

A recent press article described Eryn as having "the power to woo audiences into an amused silence", with a "seductive range changing voice,,," "...bending and moving to the music, especially in tunes where her voice trails off in jam band moments of pleasant belting-meets-screaming... when songs later her voice is soft as butter and seems to roll off and melt into the air around you."
