For me Ashtanga yoga is a kind of physical, mental, and spiritual self defense. Yoga has healed many of the physical problems I used to deal with leaving me with a strong, flexible and balanced body. Mentally yoga has taught me how to relax and stay focused. And spiritually I feel a lot more in tuned with myself, others, and our source. With such a busy life, having a practice that benefits me on all levels of exsistance has been a real blessing.
Over the past decade I have been dedicated to the Ashtanga yoga practice, receiving my teachers training from Wendy Green in 2005, and organizing the Ashtanga yoga Co-op at the Jersey Shore.
