According to a recent mailing by NJ-American Water:
"Beginning the week of May 28, 2012, NJ American Water will transition the treatment process in its Monmouth and Ocean County service areas from chlorine to chloramine to comply with more stringent federal drinking water regulations..."
According to my sources, chloramine is much more toxic than chlorine. My husband and I are in the process of taking steps towards installation of a whole house chloramine filter. Please do your own research and take care of your wellbeing and that of your family.
One of our members just sent me this link. I haven't looked it over thoroughly. It looks like a good place to start your education.
As I get more information, I will share it. If you have more information, please share it with us.
On a separate but related note, after years of distilling my drinking water at home, my distiller finally gave out. Initially, as a stop-gap measure, I started buying local spring water. I decided to stick with it, at least for the time being. This is where I get my drinking water currently. They have BPA free bottles. You have to ask for them. They cost 50 cents more per 5 gallons. Totally worth it, IMHO.
When I get the bottles home, I transfer the water to my own glass bottles and store them on top of a Tachyon disk, which I get here. I do notice an upgrade in the vibrational quality.
To your wellness!!
