Joshua Davidson, Founder of Chop Dawg ( and Subtle (

    About The Speaker:

While most teenagers are busy getting their drivers license, Joshua Davidson, a social entrepreneur, founded his first company Chop Dawg, at the ripe age of 16. Shortly after, at the age of 20, he went on to launch his second company, Subtle. As a passionate tech guru, investor and speaker, Joshua focuses his time on launching startups and growing businesses that disrupt entire industries and make a positive difference. When he's not focused on growing others’ businesses, he concentrates on how to advance his own.

Joshua is the CEO and Founder of Chop Dawg, full service company lined up with leading designers and developers that take ideas from concept and turn them into reality. Chop Dawg helps create startups for inspiring entrepreneurs by providing them with a wide range of services including web and mobile development, branding and marketing strategies. Through a strong mix of services, Chop Dawg builds successful brands and helps entrepreneurs’ design, plan and implement their objectives.

Joshua is also the President and Founder of Subtle, the first online platform designed to help companies manage their presences online in an effortless and efficient way. Subtle provides a one-stop solution for organizations and individuals looking to take control of their digital presence and online operations while providing a suite of applications such as CMS, Social Media and Newsletters. For the first time, through a series of tools, Subtle’s platform allows everyday individuals to have full control of their online applications all under one roof and through any device.

Joshua spends his days being a innovative CEO and evenings networking with fellow entrepreneurs, testing prototypes and brainstorming concepts. He plans to utilize his skills in the years to come for innovative growth and to make a significant impact on the lives of others while bringing true quality in the startup scene one product and business at a time.

    About the Talk:

Josh plans to discuss how he manages and grows his social media following (his personal Twitter account has close to 250,000 followers) and generates over 80% of his business at Chop Dawg through social media. He will also cover proper branding techniques for today's most popular social networks.

I'm hoping that if a "No Show List Of Shame" exists, a "do not ever let speak again" list exists as well. Josh doesn't deserve to pitch his product. At 6:30 he decided to let us know he wasn't going to make it up from AC? A 5:00 two hour notice would have been acceptable. I raced down from NYC to find a note on the door at Cowerks... if only my car knew how to read email. Yes I'm pissed. Unacceptable.
