Movie Night! Jethro Tull - Nothing Is Easy: Live at the Isle of Wight 1970

Come enjoy a Free Screening at The Raven's Head Pub, Astoria. We'll be upstairs in the movie loft/bar.

This is a dual meetup with the British Telly & Film Group, so as of 4/25, there another 6 members RSVP'd to attend.

We'll start the evening with drinks/food at 6:30 and there will be a Jethro Tull pub quiz, with prizes!
We'll begin the movie around 7:30 pm.

The sound system is quite good and the movie details say it's DTS 5.1 Surround.

Movie Details:
"Just three years into their career and just months before the release of their acclaimed album "Aqualung," Jethro Tull performed on the final day of the 1970 Isle of Wight festival. Award-winning director Murray Lerner captures tension between the hippie audience and show organizers, and audio commentary by front man Ian Anderson provides intimate perspective into the band's festival experience. Songs include "Nothing Is Easy" and "My God."

Movie length: 80 minutes.

The Raven's Head is a great new pub in Astoria (and a short subway ride
from mid-Manhattan). They have a top selection of draught beers and a
full menu of delicious pub grub (including several vegetarian options).

Details, including menu and directions, here:
http://www.ravensheadpublichouse.com/

Directions: The pub is very close to the subway.

The Steinway is closest. Take the R or M to Steinway, N to Broadway, Queens.
(4 stops on either train from 59th and Lex, then a 4-5 minute
walk from Steinway, or 8-10 min walk from Broadway station)

Free screening, free popcorn, and $5 draughts -- what's not to love?

Very nice location, very cooperative staff and management, nice movie set-up. Raises the suggestion that we should have a followup with the TAAB2 DVD. Thoroughly enjoyed the company.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
