Come enjoy a Free Screening at The Raven's Head Pub, Astoria. We'll be upstairs in the movie loft/bar.
This is a dual meetup with the British Telly & Film Group, so as of 4/25, there another 6 members RSVP'd to attend.
We'll start the evening with drinks/food at 6:30 and there will be a Jethro Tull pub quiz, with prizes!
We'll begin the movie around 7:30 pm.
The sound system is quite good and the movie details say it's DTS 5.1 Surround.
"Just three years into their career and just months before the release of their acclaimed album "Aqualung," Jethro Tull performed on the final day of the 1970 Isle of Wight festival. Award-winning director Murray Lerner captures tension between the hippie audience and show organizers, and audio commentary by front man Ian Anderson provides intimate perspective into the band's festival experience. Songs include "Nothing Is Easy" and "My God."
Movie length: 80 minutes.
