We are a group of jewelry artists who were brought together by our common interests, word of mouth and our local bead shops.
Our members have talent in various mediums including: seed beading, wire wrapping, chain maille, lampworking, precious metal clay & polymer clay. Our members vary in skill from the beginner to the professional level.
BVJAG was formed in January 2008 so we are still a relatively new group and continually evolving to meet the needs and interests of our membership. BVJAG strives to provide a fun and rewarding environment for our members to share their art with others.
We currently meet the 2nd week of each month, alternating between Monday evenings and Saturday mornings. Dues are $24.00 per year /indiv (prorated-new members) and we are building a lending library of books and supplies for members to check out on a monthly basis. Our meetings consist of a short business presentation followed by a demonstration or presentation on a topic or medium. We also have monthly challenges to each create a piece based on a theme etc to share with the group.
