My husband and I are looking to host young professional Jews 20's-30's who are across the spectrum in their observance. Our only request is that you like to eat, as there is always a ton of food and alcohol for a few l'chaims! We are a Persian & Ashkenazi couple who love hosting guests for Shabbat. Living in Fairfax leaves us outside the larger Jewish communities of the city, but via our Shabbat table we have had the pleasure of meeting some amazing people and been blessed to have them share our home. We keep Shabbat and a strict kosher home. We are super chill, have no agenda (religious or otherwise) and simply enjoy meeting new people and having them as guests at our home for Shabbat.
Please feel free to reach out to me if you or someone you know would like to be hosted. We do welcome young professional couples, as space is limited no children and please respect the age range. If you are interested in Judaism or would like to experience a traditional shabbat dinner and are not Jewish please reach out to us. If you are reading this and don't meet the requirements above you may know someone who does please share.
As the DMV is transient, it is difficult to meet other young professional Jews and we enjoy bringing the kehilla together.
