Losing a job can be devastating ranking just behind death and divorce in its physical and emotional effects. Learn how a job loss is affected by the grieving process and, in particular, the Depression stage. Whatever stage of grieving you are experiencing may be present in your job search whether or not you are aware of it. This could be contributing to the obstacles you are encountering. You will participate in a short self-evaluation of your current emotional state and how this reflects in your job search. The main focus of the presentation will then move to techniques for addressing how to move to the next stage of loss in positive ways.
