“The drinking of wine is a celebration of life, good food, and special company.  It’s one of the great pleasures of the world, and its enjoyment is enhanced by some knowledge of its varieties, flavors and styles" ~ Kevin Zraly, Windows of the World Wine School

In France there is a saying, 'Joie de Vivre', which is used to express a celebration of life.  It's a decision you make to live a life of joy.  Wine is an expression of that joy!  Drinking it, learning about it, and sharing the experience with others can be a joyful occasion.

The Joie de Vivre Wine Club welcomes everyone from first time sippers to the seasoned taster.  We understand and accept that we all have our own unique palates and that enjoying wine is the common bond we all share. Our members consist of a diverse group of single, married and partnered adults of all ages, nationalities, etc., and membership is open to anyone of drinking age. We will taste wines across all global regions with the goal of expanding our knowledge and enjoyment of wine, thereby enhancing life’s joy!

Events ~ The Joie de Vivre Wine Club will host a variety of events throughout the Triangle for every level of wine enthusiast where Wine will always be at the forefront and will always be our primary reason for gathering.  These events could include Tastings at various local merchants, Wine Pairing Events, Wine Education, Wine Socials and Themed Wine Parties and other Special Wine Events.  Many of our events will also include a food element as good wine is always best accompanied by great food!

Membership ~ Membership to the Joie de Vivre Wine Club is $10 per person per year.  In addition to the basic costs of running this group, these dues will go towards event planning costs, vendor / venue deposits, funding special events and other miscellaneous costs associated with making our events unique and exciting for everyone. Benefits of paid Membership in the Club, referred to as Grand Cru Member, include priority RSVPs to some of our events with limited numbers, discounted prices and other perks.  Prices for Guests attending with a Member are the same as non-member prices.

Members are encouraged to be actively involved in the group.  We welcome you to bring guests who may also enjoy our events. The greater the participation at vendor events, the better our opportunities for future events!

It is my hope that through joining our Club, and engaged participation in our events, that I can help you expand your own knowledge and enjoyment of wine, thereby enhancing your ‘Joie de Vivre”!

I look forward to seeing you at an event soon!

Cheers! Jacqui 🍷

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
